Makati on Wednesday suspended first-dose COVID vaccinations for all categories due to a lack of supply, a city health advisory said.
The national government has yet to send the city its stock of jabs, the advisory said. Residents and workers were advised to wait for a text containing a new appointment.
Previously, the city suspended vaccinations for essential workers or those in the A4 category due to low vaccine supply. Other cities in Metro Manila likewise restricted inoculation this week as doses have yet to arrive.
