Manila Declares June 30 a Holiday for Marcos Inauguration

Manila Mayor Isko Moreno said Thursday he declared June 30 a a special non-working holiday in the city for the inauguration of President-elect Bongbong Marcos.

This will allow Manileños to watch the oathtaking of Marcos at the National Museum in Ermita, said Moreno, who lost to Marcos in the presidential race.

Moreno earlier urged Filipinos to rally behind Marcos and Vice President-elect Sara Duterte after the tandem secured majority of the votes with more than 30 million each.
