A Better Name for Pac Pay? Internet Says 'Manny Transfer'

Senator and boxing icon Manny Pacquiao announced he is launching his own digital payment platform, Pac Pay, joining the ranks of GCash and other electronic payment options in shaping the future of money.

What does the internet think about it? There's a missed opportunity to how it is named. PacPay should be called Manny Transfer instead, according to the resulting memes.

On whether or not Pacquiao would heed the internet's request, there's no certainty to it. What is sure though is Pacpay from Pac Technologies will launch in early 2021, along with its vision of connecting Filipino businessmen to overseas clients, as Pacquiao told the World Fintech Festival held in Manila last week.

It seems there is no stopping the boxing-champion-turned-Senator and now-tech businessman from making a name for himself outside the ring.
