These Metro Manila cities set aside budgets for the purchase of COVID-19 vaccines:
City of Manila
A total of P250 million has been set aside to fund the purchase of jabs for Manila residents.
According to Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, the local government is in talks with two pharmaceutical companies.
Online registration for residents has started, with guidelines available on the website.

Makati City
Makati Mayor Abby Binay said the city allocated P1 billion to ensure that every resident can get the vaccine for free. An online registration system will also be in place.

Pasig City
In an interview with DZMM's Telerado, Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto said that around P300 million from the city's budget will be used for purchase of COVID-19 vaccines. This will be used on top of vaccines provided by the national government, if there are any.
He promised transparency with budget, brands, price, and the procurement process.
Quezon City
Quezon City's COVID-19 Task Force Co-chair Joseph Juico told ANC's Headstart that the Mayor Joy Belmonte is eyeing a P1 billion fund for vaccine procurement.
This fund will also be used for the purchase of other equipment such as syringes, gloves, and other medical equipment.
San Juan City
San Juan City's residents can now register for the vaccine online. Mayor Francis Zamora said in an interview that the city earmarked P50 million for the purchase of vaccines in their 2021 budget.
Caloocan City
Mayor Oca Malapitan posted on his Facebook that the city is prepared to innoculate residents with a P125-million budget.
"Ito ay upang matiyak natin na kung kulangin ang ilalaan ng national government ay may nakahanda tayong pambili, upang matiyak na bawat mamamayan ng Caloocan ay mababakunahan nang sa gayon ay matiyak ang kaligtasan ng lahat," he said.
Parañaque City
The city of Parañaque allocated a P250-million budget for vaccine procurement.
"We will prioritize our frontliners, senior citizens and other vulnerable," Mayor Edwin Olivarez said in a radio interview.
Mandaluyong City
The local government of Mandaluyong set aside P200 million to fund vaccine procurement.
“Pipilitin namin, sa abot ng aming makakaya at sa pakikipagtulungan ng bawat isa, na mabakunahan ang bawat Mandaleño,” Mayor Menchie Abalos said in a statement.

Mandaluyong Allocates P200 Million for COVID Vaccines
Valenzuela City
Mayor Rex Gatchalian said that Valenzuela City allotted P150 million to procure vaccines for its residents.
"Our efforts are meant to augment and supplement the initiative of the national government who will take the lead on this endeavor," Gatchalian said in an interview.
Marikina City
Mayor Marcelino Teodoro said that P82.7 million from the city's 2021 budget would be used to vaccinate residents.
Teodoro added that they will prioritize employees to safely boost the city's economic activities. The local government is also open to working with the private sector should there be more residents in need of the jab.
Navotas City
Navotas City set aside an initial P20 million to purchase vaccines for its residents. This budget could still increase depending on the needs of its residents and on how much the national government can provide, Mayor Toby Tiangco said.
Taguig City
The local government of Taguig City allocated P1 billion fund for the purchase of COVID-19 jabs, with the goal of providing it for free to residents.
"Included in the recovery budget is P1 billion for their vaccine roll out plan, where they want to ensure every citizen has access to the free COVID-19 vaccine," the Taguig Public Information Office said in a statement.
Pasay City
The Pasay City Public Information Office said that the city government allotted P250 million for the purchase of COVID-19 vaccines.
Mayor Imelda Calixto-Rubiano said the city was looking to inoculate approximately 275,000 persons and provide vaccines for free.
