Metro Manila’s common station for the LRT, MRT, and upcoming Metro Manila Subway is halfway done after more than seven years of delay, the Department of Transportation said Friday.

Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade shared progress photos of the station at 51% completion rate, which they aim to open by December 2021.

The station is located at the corner of North Avenue and EDSA in Quezon City and will link four railway lines: the LRT-1, the MRT-3, and the upcoming MRT-7 and Metro Manila Subway.

The common station features a 13,700-square meter concourse, and is seen to serve 478,000 passengers daily once complete.
