Metro Manila Stays Under Alert Level 3 Until Nov. 14

(UPDATE) Metro Manila will remain under Alert Level 3 until Nov. 14, Malacañang said as more areas were included in the implementation of the COVID-19 alert level quarantine system.

The capital region was first placed under Alert Level 3, the third highest under a five-step warning system, last Oct. 16 as the country saw a decline in COVID-19 cases.

More businesses and activities are allowed under Alert Level 3 such as cinemas, museums, and hotels for staycations.

Here are other areas included in the COVID-19 alert level system:

Alert Level 4

- Aurora

- Bacolod City

- Negros Oriental

- Davao Occidental

Alert Level 3

- Baguio City (included as an area for special monitoring)

- Bataan

- Metro Manila

- Cavite

- Laguna

- Rizal

- Iloilo City
