Jenny Ramp of Santa Ignacia, Tarlac was crowned on Saturday as this year's Miss Philippines Earth, the pageant's first in-person iteration since the pandemic started two years ago.
The 19-year-old beauty queen succeeded outgoing titleholder Naelah Alshorbaji, who finished as a top 8 finalist at Miss Earth 2021.
The other titleholders are:
- Miss Philippines Air – Jemima Tempra (Jasaan, Misamis Oriental)
- Miss Philippines Water – Angel Santos (Trece Martires, Cavite)
- Miss Philippines Fire – Erika Vina Tan (Legazpi City)
- Miss Philippines Eco-Tourism – Nice Lampad (Bayugan, Agusan del Sur)
Ramp will represent the Philippines in the Miss Earth 2022 pageant and compete for the crown currently held by Destiny Wagner of Belize later this year.
It was the first time that Miss Philippines Earth was held in person after two years of virtual pageant due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was broadcast live from Coron, Palawan, one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country.
