Filipino-Italian model Celeste Cortesi was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2022, becoming the first to win the national qualifiers for both Miss Earth and Miss Universe.
Cortesi beat Michelle Dee, a former Miss World Philippines who finished in the semis of Miss World 2019. Cortesi was a semifinalist in Miss Earth 2018.
