Number coding in Metro Manila except Makati is suspended until further notice, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said on Wednesday.
The MMDA informed motorists with an advisory posted on their official social pages.

Prior to the pandemic, the number coding scheme sought to lessen the number of vehicles on the road by barring motorists from travelling at certain hours depending on the last digit of their license plates.
This scheme was suspended as quarantines were put in place and will be foregone for the meantime.
