MMDA Suspends Truck Ban Until April 4

For unhampered delivery of goods.

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said Tuesday it was suspending the truck ban in major thoroughfares in the capital region until Easter Sunday, April 4.

The suspension is meant to allow the unhampered movement of goods during the enhanced community quarantine period, where only essential travel is allowed, it said.

The weeklong ECQ, which is set to end on April 4, covers Metro Manila, Bulacan, Laguna, Cavite, and Rizal.

Cargo deliveries should remain unhampered during the lockdown, Malacañang had said.
