GUIDE: How to Appeal Your MMDA Traffic Ticket Online

Motorists with traffic violation tickets from the MMDA can appeal their infractions online through a new platform launched Friday.

The MMDA said motorists can file up to five Unified Ordinance Violation Receipt (UOVR) tickets per complaint form and would be contacted by the agency's Traffic Adjudication Division within three days of filing for processing of the appeal.

Here's how motorists can appeal their traffic violation tickets from the MMDA online:

1. Go to the online form and fill up the details needed.

2. Upload photos or scanned copies of the necessary documents such as the UOVR receipt, driver's license, and official receipt or certificate of registration of vehicle.

3. Appeals can be filed from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday. Appeals filed after 5 p.m. will be processed the following day, the MMDA said.

The MMDA also reminded motorists that their online appeals could be disqualified from processing should they upload wrong or fake documents.
