After temporarily shutting down its operations on Tuesday, the management of the Metro Rail Transit-3 (MRT-3) has identified the workplaces and working times of its personnel who contracted the coronavirus.

This information would help in contact tracing efforts and quarantine among passengers who had direct contact with the infected personnel.

In a Facebook post, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) confirmed that a total of 198 MRT-3 employees tested positive for COVID-19 — 177 depot personnel, three train drivers, two control center personnel, and 16 station personnel — as of July 6.

  • North Avenue station -1:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., and 4:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.
  • Quezon Avenue station - 1:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
  • GMA-Kamuning station - 4:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
