The North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) Philippine Arena Interchange is set to reopen on Saturday, August 1. The road junction in Bocaue, Bulacan was temporarily closed due to pandemic restrictions and the exclusive use of We Heal As One quarantine facility.
The NLEX Philippine Arena Interchange was constructed to ease traffic congestion on the eastern part of Bulacan.
According to the NLEX Corp's official announcement, radio-frequency identification (RFID) installation sites were placed strategically to help motorists adjust to cashless payments.
Those who opt to pay cash are required to register for an RFID account and install the tech on their vehicles before entering and exiting.
Earlier this month, the Department of Public Works and Highway also opened the NLEX Tambobong Interchange to help traffic flow in Bulacan.
