Number coding in Metro Manila, except Makati City, will stay suspended under Alert Level 3, the MMDA said Thursday.

The capital region will shift to Alert Level 3 from 4 on Oct. 16, allowing more businesses to operate at higher capacities. Public transportation remains limited, the agency said.

Curfew hours in Metro Manila will also be shortened to four hours, from 12 a.m. to 4 a.m.
