Number coding is suspended on Tuesday, May 3, in celebration of the Muslim feast Eid'l Fitr or the end of Ramadan, the MMDA said.
The suspension is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. which means that vehicles with plate numbers ending in 3 or 4 can traverse major thoroughfares in Metro Manila.
Malacañang has declared May 3 a regular holiday in celebration of Eid'l Fitr, which marks the end of the fasting month of Ramadan for Muslims, who make up around 6% of the Philippines' population where the majority are Catholic.
