Philippine Airlines is set to resume its flight operations in June.

PAL enumerated the international and domestic flights available for travelers in a statement released on Friday, May 29, 2020.

Starting on June 1, flights are set to take off to these international destinations: USA, Canada, Guam, Vietnam, mainland China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Taipei, Singapore, Japan, the UAE, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.

To those who are flying to London and Sydney, Australia, please wait for the airline's advisory.

Starting on June 8, passengers from Manila can fly to the following areas: Basco, Laoag, Legazpi, Puerto Princesa, Busuanga, Bacolod, Cebu, Dumaguete, Iloilo, Kalibo, Caticlan (Boracay) , Roxas, Tacloban, Tagbilaran (Panglao),  Butuan, Cotabato, Cagayan De Oro, Dipolog, Davao, General Santos, Ozamiz, Pagadian, and Zamboanga.

On the same day, Cebu-Davao flights will be available as well.

Meanwhile, PAL reminded the passengers to abide by the protocols of the "new normal" in travel.

Wearing a face mask or facial covering is a must, as the airports will strictly impose the no mask-no fly policy.

"We also encourage you to check in online and arrive early at the airport to allocate extra time for new safety procedures (thermal scanning, social distancing practices for queuing, etc.) – at least three hours prior to departure for domestic flights, and four hours prior to departure for international flights," said PAL.

As part of its precautionary measures to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, the cabin crew will undergo rapid testing before depature, wear full personal protective equipment during the flight, and observe proper hand hygiene.

In addition, the air in the cabin will be pumped through "High Efficiency Particulate Arrestor (HEPA) filters that trap viruses, bacteria and other contaminants with 99.9 percent efficiency, the same technology employed in hospital operating rooms."

The travel ban is lifted now that key cities are shifting from enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) to general community quarantine (GCQ) starting June 1.
