The Philippine Red Cross is offering mobile COVID-19 vaccination via converted buses to reach Filipinos with limited access to inoculation sites.

Done in partnership with #UBEExpress of the Bert Lina Group of Companies, the mobile vaccination buses sport a customized interior that address the needs of vaccinations and other health services.

According to the PRC, the buses are equipped with its own cold chain system, mobile refrigerator, and vaccine cabinet. Prior to COVID vaccinations, the buses were used to inoculate more than a million children against polio and measles-rubella.

"Nagawa natin ito noong pagbabakuna kontra polio at measles. Magagawa din natin kontra COVID-19," PRC Chairman Sen. Richard Gordon said.

"PRC Bakuna Bus will be there where we are needed. Our goal is to reach the last mile upang mas marami ang mabakunahan lalo na ang mga nangangailangan. Lahat ng Pilipino may laban. Lahat ay protektado," Gordon said.
