Philippine Airlines is offering free RT-PCR testing for land-based overseas Filipino workers returning from Middle East territories for the holiday season.
OFWs and travelling dependents fying in from the following areas can avail of free swab tests upon arrival from Dec. 22 to Jan. 1:
- Dubai
- Doha
- Dammam
- Riyadh
- Bahrain
To avail of this free service, passengers must register online, as early as 3 days before departure. Upon arrival, they will be tested at PAL's One-Stop-Shop in Terminal 2 of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
Results will be released within 24 hours.
Sea-based OFWs aboard flights departing Dec. 21 to Dec. 31 can also avail of free testing under another laboratory provider.
Passengers who test positive will be endorsed to the Philippine Bureau of Quarantine for further medical management.
