Local airports in areas under the three lowest alert levels have made face shields optional for flight staff and passengers after the national policy on wearing of the plastic gear was eased.
According to the country's largest carrier Cebu Pacific, face shields for passengers and cabin crew are optional aboard planes and in airports under Alert Levels 3, 2, and 1.
Minimum public health standards must be followed at all times to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Face shields are voluntary in these Philippine airports:
- Cagayan De Oro
- General Santos
- Puerto Princesa
