BATANGAS CITY -- Residents here on Monday scooped mud from their homes and flipped cars that were turned over by flash floods spawned by Super Typhoon Rolly. Batangas province is among the hardest hit by 2020's strongest storm so far.

In Barangay San Isidro several men used ropes to pull a Mistubishi Montero from a coconut tree.

Elsewhere in the city, residents cleaned thick mud from their houses. The flood waters submerged their belongings, including family photos that were hung to dry under the sun.
