Pia Wurtzbach Votes for Leni Robredo via Absentee Ballot in UAE

Beauty queen and entrepreneur Pia Wurtzbach said Wednesday she voted for Leni Robredo for President via absentee ballot in the UAE.

The Miss Universe 2015 titleholder urged Filipinos to make their voices heard via absentee or on Election Day on May 9 because every single vote counts.

"As a first time voter, I must say that it felt so good to vote today. Emotional actually. May halong excitement & relief that I finally took my stand. Shading that little black dot felt like I was finally making a choice towards our future. I know Iā€™m only 1 person," Wurtzbach said on Twitter and Instagram.

Wurtzbach cast her vote in head-to-toe pink, Robredo's campaign color. She is in the UAE on holiday with boyfriend, Jeremy Jauncey, who heads travel firm Beautiful Destinations.

Wurtzbach had not explicitly endorsed Robredo until she revealed her absentee vote.
