(UPDATE) Presidential candidate Panfilo Lacson said he was "at peace" when he cast his vote on Monday, with both opinion polls and Google Trends placing him in fifth place.
The senator was among those prioritized to vote in Bayan Luma 1 Elementary School in Imus City as a senior citizen. He earlier told Filipinos to launch a "silent revolution" and elect "deserving leaders" during his miting de avance.
The 73-year-old Lacson said he remained upbeat as he trailed behind pre-election surveys with 2% voter preference in Pulse Asia's late April survey. His running mate is Senate President Tito Sotto.

"I never lost hope... I'm always upbeat, we remain upbeat, kami ni Tito Sen," Lacson was quoted as saying by his office, while in line to vote.
"I'm at peace. Dalawa lang puwede puntahan. Puwede kang pumunta ng Malacanang o umuwi ng bahay. 'Pag umuwi ka ng bahay edi masaya buhay mo kasi tahimik ang buhay. I've stayed in government for 50 years, I feel fulfilled, ginawa ko naman ang trabaho ko."
