The Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange, Metro Manila's commuter gateway to Southern Luzon, will offer COVID-19 vaccines and boosters for five days to help ramp up immunization during the omicron surge, authorities said.
AstraZeneca vaccines will be administered on Jan. 24 to 28 -- for first, second and booster doses -- said the Department of Transportation, which organized the effort together with the MMDA.
“Mahalaga po para sa atin na masigurong bakunado ang ating mga bayaning transport workers, lalo na at iba't-ibang lugar ang kanilang pinupuntahan, gayundin ang ibang stakeholders at mga commuters na kanilang nakakasalamuha sa araw-araw,” said Transport Sec. Arthur Tugade.
Those receiving booster shots will be given priority, the DOTr said.
MORE ON BOOSTERS:
The "We Vax as One: Mobile Vaccination Drive" will be open from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. daily and aims to distribute 500 doses per day. Walk-ins will be accepted, with registration to be done onsite.
Those who want to receive the vaccine must proceed to Gate 4 at the PITX 2nd floor.
