Princess Beatrice Got Married in a Private Ceremony in Windsor

Both the Queen and Prince Philip were in attendance.

Today, in royal news: Princess Beatrice, the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Fergusonhas married property tycoon Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in a private ceremony at The Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge in Windsor.  

If you can recall, the two were supposed to wed on May 29, 2020 at the Chapel Royal at St. James' Palace but decided to postpone their wedding due to COVID-19. The palace said in a statement, "The wedding took place in accordance with all relevant government guidelines."

They announced their engagement in September 2019. Though their families have known each other for years, the couple supposedly reconnected in 2018 at the wedding of Beatrice’s sister, Princess Eugenie.

The ceremony was small. Both of Beatrice's parents attended the wedding, as did the Queen and Prince Philip, who've been isolating themselves in Windsor since March 2020.
