Rizal Park will be open to the public again starting August 24 for exercise only, and not leisure, as Metro Manila’s general community quarantine nears expiry. The central section will be open 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. daily.
The National Parks Development Committee said new health protocols will be enforced to ensure the safety of visitors. Prior to entering, guests must check-in via Facebook Messenger or text message. Afterwards, a health declaration form accessible via QR code must be filled up.
Health protocols such as social distancing and wearing of masks will still be in place.
Those interested to go are encouraged to apply for an entry request ahead of time for a smooth check-in. Entry requests are valid for 1 day, and permit multiple entry and exit during park hours.

The park’s Promenade Area was open to visitors last July, but closed its doors again when Metro Manila shifted to the stricter modified enhanced community quarantine on Aug. 4.
