Bridgetowne, Robinsons Land Corp’s first township located between Pasig and Quezon City, is poised to become the country’s premier integrated Smart City as it will soon house the largest telco neutral data center, the developer said.
Software development company BeeinfotechPH leased out an entire office building in the real estate development for its data center that will pave the way for interconnection between multiple telecommunications carriers, RLC said.
The data center will occupy Bridgetown's 19,000-square-meter Campus One development, said RLC Senior Vice President and Office Buildings Division General Manager Jericho Go.
A power center will also be built, adjacent to the leased premises, to increase power supply in the premises, Go said.
Go said the data center is a boon for the Bridgetowne as the technology will put the estate in the "best position to become the leading fully functional and integrated SMART CITY development in the country."
BPO tenants and office occupiers will then have easy access to the data center within Bridgetowne, addressing their growing need for data center services.
“Campus One in Bridgetowne is the ideal location for this project as it is serviced by multiple telco providers, and the area is flood free and far away from the earthquake faultline,” said Beeinfotech PH President and CEO Reynaldo Huergas.
Bridgetowne is accessible via C5, Ortigas and Amang Rodriguez Avenue.
