Robinsons Malls said Monday it would break ground on its new branch in Pagadian City to expand its retail footprint in Mindanao.
The groundbreaking of Robinsons Place Pagadian is scheduled on Nov. 19, Gokongwei-led Robinsons Land said. The design of the mall is an homage to the colorful vinta outrigger boats that are symbolic of Eastern Mindanao.
Robinsons Place Pagadian will be located within the vicinity of the city capitol and landmarks such as Plaza Luz and Legislative Building. It will host local and international shops, fine and casual dining options, and other amenities.
It will include a Food Hall, Robinsons Supermarket, Robinsons Movieworld and Robinsons Department Store.
Robinsons Land and Summit Media, which publishes reportr, are both part of JG Summit Holdings.
