Vice President Leni Robredo on Friday tried to calm the anxiety of supporters, three days before the May 9 elections wherein the most recent survey tipped her rival Bongbong Marcos to win.
"Anxious for Leni" is among many catch phrases used on social media by supporters of Robredo, who had waged a volunteer-driven campaign to fight the Marcos machinery that's backed by local politicians and a long-running social media campaign to protray the martial law years as the Philippines' golden age.

"Magtiwala lang kasi hindi lang naman ako ginawa yung lahat, sila din. Yung lesson natin sa buhay, basta lalaban tayo to the best of our ability pero sa tamaang paraan," Robredo told reporters
"Gagawin natin lahat leaving no stones unturned, hindi natin gagawin yung masasamang ginawa ng iba yun naman mahalaga. Diyos na yung bahalang makatapos," she said in a video posted by INQUIRER.net.
