Vice President Leni Robredo on Monday warned the public against a fabricated report that claimed her eldest daughter Aika was arrested in the United States back in 2017.

They claimed Aika's tuition was from corrupted government funds, but the Ivy League school quickly saw through the bluff, she said.

Robredo said although funny, such claims need to be corrected given the number of people who believe them anyway.

"Ma checheck naman po ito sa records pero yung iba kasi naniniwala lang basta kahit kasinungalingan," she said.
