Will the public see Vice President Leni Robredo join forces with Manila Mayor Isko Moreno in election year 2022?
For now, their partnership is limited to COVID-19 vaccination efforts that can last until next year since they will still be in office until June, the two officials said.
Robredo on Tuesday teamed up with Moreno to launch a COVID-19 drive-thru vaccination site for drivers in the capital city as the country rushes to expand its immunization program.
Dubbed Vaccine Express, the initiative aims to speed up the rollout of COVID-19 vaccines to Manila's tricycle, pedicab, and delivery riders.

For now, Robredo said politics is not the priority as she emphasized that addressing the pandemic is not an issue of political color.
"Yung pandemic naman wala namang political color ito diba. Yung trabaho namin, hindi kami dapat tumitingin dun sa 'preparation ba ito for 2022?'," she said.
Moreno meanwhile played coy when asked if their partnership can last until 2022.
"The expiration of our mandate until June 2022 so yes we'll be happy," Moreno said referring to the vaccination initiative. "Natutuwa lang ako kasi anybody na tutulong sa mga taga-Maynila, bilang ama ng lungsod, tinatanaw namin yun ng utang na loob."
Both Robredo and Moreno have been linked to possible presidential bids in 2022.
Moreno has said that he is "definitely running" in next year's elections but has yet to disclose for which post. He is among President Rodrigo Duterte's "options" for a successor according to Malacañang, and is among personalities being courted by the opposition Liberal Party for its 2022 coalition.
Robredo meanwhile has yet to decide on calls to run for president but has said that the opposition needs to field a single candidate for president.
