Food delivery and restaurant agreggator app Foodpanda on Tuesday said its membership program now offers at least 25% off in discounts for dine-in in over 2,000 establishments nationwide, as more people return to on-site work.
Launched in Sept. 2021, pandapro's dine-in feature guarantees discounts on a user's total restaurant bill on all menu items, reminiscent of Zomato Gold, a similar dining discount program that shut down in Nov. 2020.
"So as a pandapro subscriber, not only will you enjoy limitless and exclusive benefits on the app, but you will also be able to save on your bill everytime you dine out or dine in in one of our partner restaurants," foodpanda Philippines' Commercial Director Hardik Batra said during the program's launch at The European Diner BGC, a pandapro dine-in vendor.

Batra said the company handpicked more than 2,000 restaurants across the country.
Foodpanda's delivery service, which has provided locked down Filipinos convenient food options, and riders a means to livelihood during the pandemic, is "here to stay", he said.
The company has been battling protests among riders over what they said were unfair practices of the platform, including their distance-based payment scheme that diminished their pay.
"As we see that the whole economy opening up, people are again going out, it is our way to also engage with restaurants better and help them thrive better," he said.
