S&R Membership Shopping said Wednesday customers contact details could have been "compromised" in a cyber attack that did not affect its operations.
The go-to supermarket chain for U.S. brands and bulk items said credit card and financial data were "safe and secured" following the attack.
S&R said it "strongly condemns" the attack, which came as authorities investigate the rise in spam text messages that indicate mishandling of phone numbers.
The company said it reported the incident to the National Privacy Commission.
S&R is part of billionaire Lucio Co's Cosco Capital, which also includes Puregold Price Club and Office Warehouse.
