Vice president-elect Sara Duterte declared spending P216 million for her campaign in the May 9 elections, all of which came from in-kind contributions from her political party and other sources, documents showed.
According to her Statement of Contributions and Expenditures or SOCE she submitted to the Comelec on Tuesday, Duterte received over P136 million-worth of in-kind contributions from her party, Lakas-CMD, and another P79 million from other sources, also in-kind, with a total of P216 million.
All of these in-kind contributions were spent for her campaign, and none were paid out of her own personal funds or resources, her SOCE showed.

The P216 million expenditure for Duterte's vice presidential bid was just a third of the P674 million that she was allowed to spend for her campaign.
The SOCE is a requirement for all candidates and political parties, which itemizes all contributions and expenditures during the elections, regardless of the results.
Under Republic Act No. 7166, candidates for president and vice president may only spend P10 for every voter, while political parties can spend P5 for every voter currently registered in an area where they fielded candidates.
Also on Tuesday, Duterte's running mate, president-elect Bongbong Marcos submitted his SOCE to the Comelec showing that he had a campaign funding of P624 million, which were sourced from cash and in-kind contributions.
The deadline for filing the SOCE before the Comelec is set for Wednesday, June 8.
