Merlion Park
This mythical creature, who also serves as Singapore's mascot, has the head of a lion and the body of a fish and is a staple in every tourist photo taken in the country.
Admission to the Merlion Park is free, just be sure to bring sunglasses for when the sun is up high or an umbrella for rainy days. Expect lots of people as the sight is one of Singapore's most popular tourist spots.
For a different take on the usual Merlion photo, try going at night when it's lit up with the Singapore skyline as your background.

The National Gallery Singapore

Universal Studios Singapore
If you're looking for a fun day out filled with rides and attractions, look no further than Universal Studios Singapore located within the Resorts World Sentosa in Sentosa Island.
The theme park features 28 rides along with attractions in seven themed zones. Tickets are available online. Only fully vaccinated guests, children aged 12 and below, and guests who have recovered from COVID-19 may enter the attractions.

Marina Bay Sands
This architectural marvel is an Instagram favorite that serves as a lifestyle and entertainment hub which comprises of three columns, cradling the world's largest rooftop infinity pool
Shopping fiends are sure to enjoy the Marina Bay Sands' thousands of shops, and those looking to treat themselves to a night of fine dining and world-class services can find comfort in its restaurants and hotel.
And if you're not in the mood to splurge, window-shopping is welcome, plus a walk around the area holds a good view of Singapore's other attractions.

Maxwell Hawker Centre
Singapore is home to many hawker centers, but the Maxwell Hawker Centre near Chinatown houses the renowned chicken rice stall called Tian Tian Chicken Rice, along with neighboring stalls that will satisfy your hunger for Southeast Asian cuisine.
Hawker centers are especially busy during lunch and dinner, but long queues can form even on odd hours. Nabbing a table might be tough, so best have a team for more eyes on the lookout for free seats to snatch.

The Jewel Changi Airport isn't your usual shop inside an airport—it's a nature-themed complex linking three of Changi Airport's terminals with the famous Rain Vortex, the world's tallest indoor waterfall.
Opened in April 2019, the domed structure is an elaborate amalgam of nature and technology, with countless shops and restuarants to while away your time waiting for that flight. In case your group is way too early to the airport in typical Pinoy fashion, know there's something in Jewel for everyone in the family or gang.
You can visit the Jewel by train even if you don't have a flight.

Funan Mall
This retail mall located in Funan features an indoor climbing wall, cycling path, futsal court and urban farm and services office workers, apartment renters, and locals of all sorts.
Apart from its distinct offerings, some floors are also connected by mezzanine levels with built-in stores. Its sleek architecture both on the inside and outside blend modern sensibilities and a touch of nature.

Haji Lane
