Motorists can soon expect shorter travel times between NLEX and SLEX as construction on the Metro Manila Skyway Stage 3 is expected to finish before the year ends.

The last girder was installed on Friday and was inspected by Public Works Sec. Mark Villar who said he was confident the project would be completed by December despite quarantine restrictions.

The 18-kilometer skyway will connect NLEX and SLEX, promising a shorter travel time of just 30 minutes. The project is also part of the government's efforts to reduce traffic congestion along EDSA.
