Rabiya Mateo's supporters in Iloilo cheered her campaign for the Philippines' fifth Miss Universe crown on Monday through art and song.
"All out support for Rabiya," Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treñas said on Facebook, sharing photos of the chalk and charcoal artwork made by Art in the Park's Kristoffer Brasileño and artists Jester Macabinti and Kyle Sarte.
The 24-year-old beauty queen was also featured in a work by the Freeman Resort Sand Art Team's work of Mateo wearing the Miss Universe Philippines crown.
"We are known as 'malambing' (affectionate) but we are also 'maisog' (strong) in showing love for our fellow as she shows the universe the heart of the Ilonggo," Treñas said in another Facebook post, featuring the work of Edwin Guiquin.

Mateo is also the muse of Ilonggo artist JO$HUA in the song "Gwapa (Rabiya)."
"I was inspired to pen this rap by the one and only Queen of the City of Love, Rabiya Mateo. Heard that she loves rap music, so I reaaaally hope she'll like this one too," the singer said.
Visual artist Alex Ordoyo featured the beauty queen in scribble art, cheering on the "gwapa Ilongga."
In a series of social media posts, the mayor urged his fellow Ilonggos to pray for the 24-year-old beauty queen. He also asked teachers and employers to give consideration to students or employees who might be late to school or work to watch Mateo during the coronation in Florida, U.S. on Sunday, May 16 (8 a.m. May 17 in Manila).
