Filipinos Most Visited Websites: Google is No. 1, PornHub Sixth

Google is the most-visited website of Filipinos, according an annual report on digital consumption habits that also showed people in the Philippines visiting online shopping and porn sites more than news.

The U.S. search engine got 499 million visits in November 2021, according to We Are Social and Kepios' Digital 2022: Philippines report. Facebook was second with 176 million visits. The report cited data from Semrush.

Porn sites Pornhub placed sixth with 39.9 million visits, followed by XVideos2 at seventh place with 34 million visits.

Only two media sites made it to the top 20: Inquirer.net and ABS-CBN.com placing 15th and 18th, respectively.

Filipinos spent an average of 17 minutes and 22 seconds on Pornhub and 20 minutes and 53 seconds on XVideos2, the report showed. They browsed 10 minutes and two seconds on average on Inquirer.net and 10 minutes and four seconds on ABS-CBN.com.

Both porn sites got almost all of its visits using mobile phones. Pornhub's share of traffic from mobile was 95.1% while XVideos2's was 98.1%, according to the report.

Aside from Facebook, social media sites also made the top 20, including Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok.

E-commerce platforms Shopee and Lazada placed fourth and ninth.
