Tropical Storm Isang entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility Thursday and will hover off the country's eastern coast without directly affecting the landmass, PAGASA said.

The ninth storm of 2021 entered PAR at 10 a.m. and was located 1,410 kilometers east of Northern Luzon, packing winds of 45 kilometers per hour with gusts of up to 55 kph.

It will likely exit PAR by Sunday, PAGASA said.
