Typhoon Henry (international name: Hinnamnor) will continue to stir monsoon rains over parts of Luzon as it exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Sunday morning, state weather bureau PAGASA said.
Henry, the eighth storm to enter the country this year, was spotted 590 kilometers north northeast of Itabayat, Batanes, outside PAR, at 4 a.m.
It packs maximum sustained winds of 150 kilometers per hour near the center and gusts up to 185 km/h, moving north northwest at 15 km/h.

While all storm warning signals have been lifted, Henry will continue to bring monsoon rains over the northern and western section of northern Luzon and the western section of northern and central Luzon, PAGASA said.
Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms are also expected over Davao Region and the Cotabato region due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone, while the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon and localized thunderstorm, it added.
As it exited Philippine waters, Henry will continue moving north or northwest over the East China Sea towards South Korea, where it is likely to make landfall on Tuesday. Before making landfall, Henry is forecast to reintensify but is less likely to become a super typhoon again.
