PHOTOS: Ulysses Floods Trap Rizal Residents on Rooftops

Trapped on their roofs, the only escape for residents of Barangay Banaba in San Mateo, Rizal was by boat as Typhoon Ulysses (Vamco) dumped torrential rains over vast swaths of Luzon.

Trash mixed with broken twigs littered their escape paths. Here are more images from the village, located east of the capital.
