Severe Tropical Storm Ulysses was on track to hit areas still reeling from Super Typhoon Rolly late on Wednesday and lash large parts of Luzon overnight, PAGASA said, as it advised the public to stay indoors and brace for floods, rough seas and storm surges in coastal areas.

Ulysses (international name Vamco) could slam into the Polilio Islands off Quezon province at 11 p.m. , PAGASA forecaster Chris Perez said. Based on alternate forecasts, it could turn south, making landfall in northern Bicol or north to Aurora province, he said.
