Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto is looking for additional healthcare professionals to maximize their centralized quarantine facility at Rizal High School.
"We need additional healthcare workers. So if you are a healthcare worker, I'm pleading for you to please apply," Sotto said in an online public address.
There has to be enough medical staff, including those from other cities, before more parts of RHS could be converted into isolation facilities, Sotto said. At least 213 COVID-19 patients are staying in the, facility, which claims to be the world's second largest secondary school.

Sotto said salaries for service contracts are "much higher than that of the regulars."
Earlier this month, resident Daphne Pacia shared her experience being isolated in Pasig's centralized quarantine facility.
"Alagang-alaga kami sa facility: thrice a day kumakain, regularly binibigyan ng vitamins, thrice a day nagra-rounds ang nurses, once a day ang doctors, every week may schedule ng RT-PCR tests."
