Filipinos can report incidents of vote buying to Comelec's Task Force Kontra Bigay, which launched a Facebook page to make reporting easier, the poll body said.
Sending tips, leads and proof of vote-buying is necessary since without a formal complaint, Comelec said it could not investigate the alleged violation.
"Magbibigay siya ng pera in exchange for the support. If the support is in the manner of voting for that candidate, then probably that will be considered as vote-buying," Comelec commissioner Aimee Ferolino, who chairs the task force, told reporters Thursday.

Those who will report incidents of vote-buying may send their complaints via Task Force Kontra Bigay's Facebook page or via e-mail at [email protected]
Ferolino said complainants may also send their reports to the Office of the Election Officer, the Philippine National Police, the Department of Justice through the National Prosecution Service, or the Integrated Bar of the Philippines' legal assistance desks.
Anyone found guilty of this election offense could face jail time of up to six years, disqualification from holding public office, and deprivation of the right to vote.
