Vice President Leni Robredo on Wednesday launched a free teleconsultation service for those who need to see a doctor in ECQ areas to ease the burden on overwhelmed hospitals.

The Bayanihan e-Konsulta of the Office of the Vice President can accommodate medical needs of outpatient cases in Metro Manila and nearby provinces under the enhanced community quarantine namely Bulacan, Laguna, Cavite, and Rizal.

Those who wish to avail of the free teleconsultation service can send a message to the Bayanihan e-Konsulta Facebook page.

The Department of Health earlier encouraged the public to maximize the use of teleconsultation platforms as hospitals grapple with the surge in COVID-19 cases.
