For its 10th birthday, Instagram is allowing you to take a trip down the IG memory lane as they rolled out the changeable app icons feature

Available only for the month of October, you can choose from a range of the app icon's older classic versions (all the way from the pre-launch look), to some new variety of colors for the current app icon -- Twilight, Sunrise, Light, Dark, to Very Dark. There's even a Pride version for it, too.

Here's how to do it:

  1. Make sure your app is updated to the latest version.
  2. Go to settings.
  3. Scroll down hard and wait for a line of emojis to appear at the top.

  4. A birthday confetti should explode, leading you to the "App Icon" settings.
  5. You'll be redirected to the "App Icon" page where you can now change your icon.
