Severe Tropical Storm Kiko (Chanthu) entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Tuesday, joining Jolina (Conson), weather bureau PAGASA said.
Kiko, the 11th storm of 2021, entered PAR at 5:30 p.m., PAGASA said. It will move west until Friday and will not be close enough to the mainland to affect the weather, it said.
Jolina, which weakened after hitting land six times, is seen to make landfall over Marinduque or Southern Quezon by Wednesday morning before it heads to southwestern Quezon.
