Manila Mayor Isko Moreno said Wednesday a permit will be required for all public assemblies in the city to help people "move on" from the elections.

Moreno, who conceded defeat in the presidential contest to former senator Bongbong Marcos, directed city authorities to strictly enforce Batas Pambansa 880 that allows rallies without permits only in public parks.

On Tuesday, supporters of Vice President Leni Robredo, whom Moreno asked to withdraw from the presidential race, marched to the Comelec office in Intramuros to protest alleged cheating.

"Para po tayo ay tuloy-tuloy na sa pag-move on sa buhay, 'yung mga kaguluhang binabalak, ginagawa, na nakakadistorbo sa pamumuhay ninyo, 'yan po ay kailangan nila kumuha ng permit," Moreno said during a Facebook Live.

"For the purposes of moving on at kayo ay maibalik na sa normal, 'yung normal na pamumuhay, kailangan na pong ilagay natin sa tamang perspektibo ang mga bagay-bagay."
