President Rodrigo Duterte has declared the working and non-working holidays for 2022, based on an official issuance released Friday.
Just like this year, the dates Nov. 2, Dec. 24, and Dec. 31 will be classified as "special working days" again next year.
There are three long weekends because of the following non-working holidays: Monday, Aug. 29 (National Heroes' Day); Friday, Feb 25 (People Power Anniversary); and Friday, Dec. 30 (Rizal Day).
The proclamation did not identify Election Day, May 9, as a holiday, which would make four long weekends.
