Colourette Cosmetics CEO Nina Ellaine Dizon-Cabrera said she would fight allegations linking her to a vaccine slot-selling scam that she had earlier exposed.

Cabrera said she was surprised to be included in the complaint filed by the police Anti-Cybercrime Group that accused her of selling 100 slots for COVID vaccines in Mandaluyong City.

"My hands are clean. I really don't have any involvement in this. I will fight this," Cabrera told ANC.

"I took it to Twitter, I posted it because I was really surprised. And then all of a sudden, I was caught in the middle, I was dragged into the case, saying I had the intent to sell but really, I was the one who exposed it," she said.

On May 21, she showed screenshots of her alleged conversation with a vaccination slot seller when she was looking for vaccines for her employees. She was shocked to find out that scammers were selling vaccine slots.

Cabrera said she provided all information she had to law enforcers who reached out to her after she exposed the alleged racket. She said she had not been contacted by police since the case was announced on Wednesday.

The government warned the public against buying purported vaccine slots intended for priority groups. In late May, a man accused of selling vaccine slots in Mandaluyong turned himself in to authorities and denied the allegations.
