Here are the Community Quarantine Classifications for Aug. 16-31, 2021

Which areas are under ECQ, MECQ, GCQ and MGCQ.

Community quarantine protocols in Laguna, Iloilo City, and Cagayan de Oro City will be eased from Aug. 16, Malacañang said Friday following a weeklong hard lockdown in the said areas.

The three areas will be under modified enhanced community quarantine or MECQ from Aug. 16 until Aug. 31, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said. The enhanced community quarantine or ECQ in the three areas is set to expire on Sunday, Aug. 15.

Still under ECQ is Metro Manila until Aug. 20, and Bataan until Aug. 22, Roque said.

Here are the other community quarantine classifications from Aug. 16 to 31:

  • Ilocos Norte
  • Bulacan
  • Cavite
  • Lucena City
  • Rizal
  • Aklan
  • Iloilo Province
  • Lapu-Lapu City
  • Mandaue City
  • Cebu City  

GCQ with heightened restrictions

  • Ilocos Sur
  • Cagayan
  • Quezon
  • Batangas
  • Naga City
  • Antique
  • Bacolod City
  • Capiz
  • Negros Oriental
  • Cebu
  •  Zamboanga del Sur
  • Misamis Oriental
  • Davao City
  • Davao del Norte
